A crucial part of ensuring that Stores meet or exceed Sales expectations is the role of the Warehouse Technician. These team members work closely with Store Management to ensure that warehouse spaces are organized and safe, that inventory is managed efficiently, and that showroom displays reflect the Company's values and merchandising standards.

Job Responsibilities:
• Perform furniture shipping and receiving processes while strictly following all company guidelines to minimize loss
• Getting ready for furniture placement by following the visual guidelines on the stage showroom floor
• Be attentive to the assembly process and take great care to avoid causing any damage
• Coordinate with the receiving party to ensure they are ready to accept the merchandise when it arrives
• Verify the authenticity and identity of the customer and obtain the necessary documentation to release the product
• Strive to build a rapport with customers by taking an interest in their needs and preferences
• Vigilance in identifying potential hazards and maintaining safety measures is necessary to prevent accidents and mishaps
• By regularly inspecting and repairing any equipment that could cause hazards, you can further ensure a safe working environment for employees in your warehouse, stock room and showroom
• Other assigned duties could consist of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
Required Qualifications:
• The proficiency to accommodate a retail schedule of five days with a commitment to work weekend shifts (either on Saturday or Sunday for Part-Timers, both for Full-Timers), evening commitments, and the maximum number of holidays, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas
• The aptitude to operate effectively within a team and comply with directives are crucial elements for triumphing in a collective work environment
• The ability to actively listen promotes mutual understanding and respect between individuals and prevents misunderstandings
• As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, individuals who possess strong communication skills and know how to use communication tools appropriately will be highly valued in the workforce
• The talent to transfer and hoist commodities
