The Tractor Technician is a permanent, full-time position. You will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Trailer Technician/Mechanics and Tractor Technician/Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action.
Qualifications:
• A 3rd year Apprentice or Licensed Tractor Technician
• Experience working on tractors as a Heavy Equipment Apprentice or Technician
• Previous experience and qualification to perform Safeties are considered mandatory in this position
• Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities
• Ability to provide superior customer service to our Drivers
• Support and encourage Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship
• Basic level computer skills (paperless work order entry)
• Class 5 Driver’s License
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Must be fluent in the English language
Pay and Shift Schedules:
• Pay rate is $30/per hour and up. Pay will vary based on experience. Shift premiums may apply.
• South Shop - 2340+0 Wrangler Road, Rocky View, AB - Evening shift: This position is subject to 4-10 hour evenings, Monday to Thursday afternoon shift schedule, hours of work are 16:00 – 2:30.
