Automation Tester, making sure that as part of the full testing team he/she contributes to the testing coverage as determined by the test lead. Focus on writing business logic in JavaScript and providing well-structured documentation along with it. Video Platforms managed are STB and OTT with several components in the AWS cloud. Must have - Hands-on experience with video systems (Transcoders, Packagers, Media Delivery etc.) Must have Hands-on experience on writing automation of testcases, back-end testing, within the Linear television area. Must have Hands-on experience on writing business logic in JavaScript and providing well-structured documentation along with it. Must have - Understanding of OTT Delivery protocols (HLS, Dash, HSS etc.) Must have - Experience with DRM systems (PlayReady, FairPlay, Widevine) Must have - Hands on UNIX, Linux, Solaris platforms, Windows and Cloud (AWS) systems MySQL / Oracle Database solutions, Python scripting, javascript Must have Android, iOS platform knowledge and work experience with Flutter Hands-on with administering MySQL databases, Python application scripts and storage systems Good to have: CTFL ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, Queries in ELK monitor, Guide test team with input. Knowledge of more than one technology Basics of Architecture and Design fundamentals Knowledge of Testing tools Knowledge of agile methodologies Understanding of Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects Understanding of one or more Estimation methodologies, Knowledge of Quality processes Basics of business domain to understand the business requirements Analytical abilities, Strong Technical Skills, Good communication skills Good understanding of the technology and domain Ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles and modelling methods Awareness of latest technologies and trends Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills
