As a WordPress Developer at Creative Sharks, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive WordPress websites. You will work closely with our design and content teams to bring our digital projects to life. Key Responsibilities:
WordPress Development: Build and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
Theme Customization: Modify and customize existing WordPress themes to meet project requirements while ensuring a consistent and visually appealing design.
Content Management: Update and maintain website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
Performance Optimization: Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues, ensuring websites function flawlessly.
Security: Implement security best practices to protect websites and user data from vulnerabilities.
Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure websites meet project goals and brand guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in WordPress, including theme and plugin development.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with responsive web design and mobile optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
