Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze user and system requirements to design, develop, and maintain user-friendly web applications
- Work closely with stakeholders and project managers to define project specifications
- Establish targets and timelines, and delegate tasks to ensure timely deliverables
- Brainstorm with the design team to finalize website layouts and ensure a high-quality user experience
- Design and develop fully functional websites and web applications
- Review, refactor codes, and run functionality tests to ensure seamless performance
- Monitor and analyze existing solutions and provide continuous support
- Conduct regular security checks to avoid any data breaches
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of web development experience (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Experience working with web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript, PHP, Ruby, etc.
- Proficiency in asynchronous programming, patterns, threading, performance tuning, etc.
- Excellent understanding of industry-standard networking and security protocols, guidelines, etc.
- Prolific grasp of libraries and frameworks, including jQuery, React, Node.js, AngularJS, etc.
- Hands-on expertise with databases, third-party libraries, and APIs
- Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git, SVN, Mercurial, etc.
- Fluent in English to communicate effectively
- Willing to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with US time zones
