Job Description
Deliverables:
- Connect application to integrate with Waze for Cities Program - to deliver alerts to Waze users about approaching ambulance. Live-location of ambulance will come from the mobile phone using the application.
- Front & Back-end development
- Mobile Application - to be used in ambulance by paramedics
- Web-Application - fleet management display, analytics (no need for this immediately)
- Navigation in Mobile App using Google Maps or Waze
Priority:
1. Mobile-app set up to facilitate alerts to Waze users (UX, just basic UI)
2. Web-application (basic) to see data and analytics on fleets, ambulance travel-time etc.
3. Improve UI for Mobile-App
4. Integrate with Waze Deep Links Program for mobile application navigation setup
Details of Project:
- The application will be used by first responders in ambulances who will engage the application to digitally broadcast their live location, and notify Waze users of the approaching ambulance.
- Plan is to start with Waze and then expand to other digital methods to alert motorists of the approaching ambulance e.g. Google Maps, Uber.
- Work on projects 2 weeks at a time

- Full stack developer
- Experience with cloud based apps & integrations
- Would be great if experience working with Waze or Google Maps
I will provide some basic UI look for Mobile & Web Application through Toogit messages.
