Digi Carotene is seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer with experience in WordPress customization and strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and PHP. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive websites for our clients, as well as working closely with our design and content teams to create seamless user experiences. Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and PHP
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins according to client requirements and project specifications
• Collaborate with our design and content teams to translate visual mockups and wireframes into functional web pages
• Optimize websites for performance, search engine optimization (SEO), and cross-browser compatibility
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs, ensuring optimal user experiences
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, recommending and implementing new technologies and tools as appropriate
• Participate in project planning and provide accurate time estimates for development tasks
• Conduct website testing and quality assurance, addressing any issues prior to launch
• Provide ongoing website maintenance, updates, and support as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on WordPress, HTML, CSS, and PHP
• Proven experience customizing WordPress themes and plugins
• Proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and frameworks, such as Bootstrap
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and best practices
• Familiarity with SEO principles and implementation
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug web applications
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
