Job Description
We’re looking for a talented and organized “Wedding Decor Designer” to join our in-house team. This role is a unique blend of creative direction, project leadership, and system-building. You'll lead the design and execution of large-scale wedding decor projects while also developing scalable personalization processes for smaller-budget weddings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Interaction: Lead decor consultations to understand aesthetics, preferences, and budgets.
• Creative Direction: Translate client visions into cohesive decor concepts, moodboards, and layouts across all wedding functions.
• Design Development: Build event-wise design plans, including themes, installations, color palettes, materials, and spatial arrangements.
• Project Management: Oversee timelines, budgets, and on-ground execution for large weddings in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Process Building: Design systems and templates to personalize decor efficiently for mid-to-small scale weddings.
• On-Site Supervision: Ensure flawless decor execution during event setups.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Relationship Managers, Experience Managers, and Partner Vendors.
Required Skills:
• A strong eye for design, storytelling, and aesthetics.
• 3-4 years experience with event/wedding decor.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficiency in design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Canva, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Bonus: Experience in luxury weddings, hospitality, or lifestyle design projects.
• Must be willing to work on weekends (1 weekday rotational off).
