Our Data and Automation tīma is looking for a Kaitātari Raraunga | Data Analyst. This role ensures staff and stakeholders can make evidence‑based decisions by creating high‑quality analytical products that clearly communicate insights. They also respond to data requests and support data management and data literacy activities.

The Strategy Puni supports the Executive Leadership Team to shape and drive Te Puni Kōkiri’s long-term strategic direction.

Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity

We are seeking a Kaitātari Raraunga | Data Analyst to join our Data and Automation team within the Strategy Puni. You will design and deliver analytical products, respond to data requests and contribute to data governance and capability uplift across Te Puni Kōkiri. Your work will directly support policy development, monitoring and organisational performance.

As a Data Analyst, you will be:

Developing and delivering high‑quality analytics, dashboards, and automated reporting that support evidence‑based decision‑making
Translating complex data into clear insights and advice for a range of audiences
Contributing to data governance, quality, privacy, and ethical use of data
Working collaboratively across Te Puni Kōkiri and with external partners
The likely appointment range is $92,456 - $106,043 based on skills and experience.
