About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Welder Engineer for our Bluff port operation. In this hands-on role, you’ll carry out fabrication, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of heavy off-road machinery including loaders, material handlers, and terminal tractors. You’ll be based at the Bluff port.
Location: Bluff
Status: Base $43.60 p/h Full-time, Mon-Fri working 7am to 4pm
Specific Responsibilities:
Carry out welding, fabrication, and repairs on heavy machinery and port equipment
Monitor and replace worn attachments and components
Provide technical input to improve component quality and longevity
Maintain a safe work environment and report incidents promptly
Who we're after:
Relevant NZQA Level 4 trade qualification
Proven experience working on heavy vehicles and machinery.
Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
Bring a positive, can-do attitude to the role.
