Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Welder helper FOR NIGHT SHIFT for an upcoming project in Cape Canaveral, FL!!
This is a great opportunity with a lot of over time!
• PAY: $22.00
• HOURS: 60 hours a week.
• SCHEDULE: TUESDAY-SATURDAY off Sun/Mon.
• Shift: 6:00pm-6:30am (12 hours a day)
• DURATION: Project runs thru November
• START DATE: ASAP
Welder Helper Responsibilities:
Assisting welders to set up rigs and move them between work areas. Ensuring welders have required materials and tools available, such as rods and grinding discs. Maintaining stock levels of materials and supplies. Loading and unloading materials. Grinding and assisting welder as needed, cleaning work area, holewatching/firewatching duties may be required,
Bi-lingual a plus!!!
Welder Helper Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of welding experience is preferred
• Must pass Federal background check
• Reliable Transportation; Valid Driver's License
• TWIC preferred but not required.
• OSHA a plus!
Physical Requirements:
• Must be willing to work night shift, overtime, and Sunday night
• Able to lift a min. of 25 lbs. unassisted
• Able to stand for extended periods – 8 hours min
• Able to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces
Additional requirements:
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test
