Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced and certified Music Teachers with Grade 6 and above qualifications in either ABRSM or Trinity. As a Music Teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to inspire and mentor students through structured lessons that help them reach their musical goals. We are looking for teachers who are not only technically proficient but also enthusiastic about encouraging and motivating students to excel in their musical journey.
Vocals and Instruments:
• Piano
• Western Classical Vocals
• Guitars (Electric, Accoustic, Classical)
• Drums
• Violin
• Cello
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and group lessons for students of all ages and levels
• Tailor lesson plans to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.
• Prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity, and other music examinations as required.
• Offer constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills and reach their potential.
• Encourage creativity, passion, and discipline in students through engaging teaching methods.
• Participate in school events, recitals, and performances as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, including attendance, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding lesson schedules, progress, and any relevant updates.
• Stay up to date with trends in music education and professional development.
Qualifications:
• Grade 6 and above certification in ABRSM or Trinity (or equivalent).
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in a music school or private tutoring setting.
• Strong musical proficiency and knowledge in [instrument(s)].
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for teaching and inspiring students of all ages.
• Ability to customize lessons to cater to students' varying abilities and goals.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm in the classroom.
• A degree in music or a related field (preferred, but not required).
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (depending on student needs).
