Job Description
Education:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music, with specialization in Western music or a related field.
Certification in Music Education is preferred.
• Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in Western music at a school or similar educational institution.
Experience teaching students of varying skill levels.
• Skills and Attributes:
Proficiency in playing Western instrument (piano, guitar, violin, etc.) and vocal training.
Knowledge to prepare Rock Band
knowledge to handle musical instruments
Knowledge of managing sound
Strong knowledge of music theory and the ability to teach music composition and arrangement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a residential school setting and maintain professional conduct at all times.
