• Instruction and Curriculum Development:
• Plan and deliver engaging violin lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's goals, abilities, and interests.
• Teach a range of repertoire, from classical to contemporary, ensuring a well-rounded musical education.
• Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
• Assess students' skills and progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for performances, exams, and competitions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and achievements.
• Classroom Management:
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters student engagement and confidence.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a respectful and focused atmosphere.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
• Performance and Events:
• Organize and participate in recitals, concerts, and other performance opportunities for students.
• Encourage and support students in participating in external music events and competitions.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to plan and execute school-wide musical events.
• Professional Development:
• Stay current with best practices in violin pedagogy and music education.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, workshops, and conferences.
• Continuously seek ways to enhance teaching methods and curriculum.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Communicate regularly with students' parents or guardians regarding progress and any concerns.
• Work collaboratively with other music instructors and staff to support the overall music program.
• Participate in faculty meetings, staff development, and other institutional activities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a violin instructor, with a strong background in Western classical music.
• Proficiency in playing the violin and a deep understanding of violin technique and pedagogy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching music.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and skill levels.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
