About the role:
We, at Turing, are looking for experienced SQL developers responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance, and assisting to create SQL queries and procedures, custom reports, and modify ERP user forms to enhance organizational productivity. Job responsibilities
- Oversee common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
- Research required data and review and interpret business report requirements
- Create appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
- Analyze existing SQL queries to ensure performance improvements
- Assist in developing, implementing, and optimizing stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
- Work closely with data specialists to develop procedures and scripts for data migration
- Help the stakeholders with timely scheduled management reporting
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of experience in SQL server development and ETL tools (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Demonstrated experience in SQL server objects development, including tables, views, stored procedures, and UDFs
- Profound knowledge of configuring and administrating SQL servers
- Extensive experience with database administration and management
- Proven working experience in data acquisition frameworks and ETL development
- Advanced knowledge of SQL coding, schema design, and performance tuning
- Strong understanding of the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases
- Fluent in English to communicate effectively with engineers and clients
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
