Trends & Forecasting
• Experience in Indian Designer/ Retail/ Brand for Womenswear
• Must have Graphic Skills
• Must have expertise in developing Embroidery and Prints from Concept to Product
Actively participate in market study to identify current trends, fabrics, and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.
Deeply understand /define brand and customer profiling to address the relevant market opportunities with relevant concepts
Develop ideas for product re-engineering
Interpret seasonal fashion directions, opportunities and assort merchandise / range to stay ahead of competition
Design Process
Conceptualize, design and develop the range in line with brand ethos/positioning, as per pricing/margin strategy and learnings from the previous seasons within acceptable timelines (1)
Prepare mood boards for the forthcoming season (2)
Create line sheets and design packs as per agreed range (3)
Participate in concept and range approval discussion (4)
Liaise with fit technicians for relevant inputs (vendors/mills) to get planned innovations on fits, fabric, style, print techniques, surface enhancements/textures, trims etc. (5)
Liaise with product development for sampling, tech pack handover and prototyping (6)
Participate in fit sessions, approvals to ensure quality of product (7)
Support GTM presentation by ensuring 100% accuracy of information and sample availability (8)
Ensure information for Website and Other POS are procured as per given specs (+)
Identify opportunities for bringing in process efficiency (10)
Working experience in creating graphics using Adobe Software (11)
