Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Techno-Functional Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge across Workday modules, and will act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders while driving scalable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of Workday solutions across modules such as HCM, Payroll, Financials, Integrations, and Reporting
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions
Provide techno-functional leadership across multiple Workday implementations and enhancements
Design and oversee integrations using Workday tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, Workday APIs)
Ensure best practices in configuration, security, data governance, and system performance
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday architecture and capabilities
Drive system optimization, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives
Mentor and guide functional consultants, developers, and analysts
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, vendors, and third-party systems
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
15+ years of overall IT experience
Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience with Workday (implementation and/or support)
Strong experience in multiple Workday modules (HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, Financials, etc.)
Expertise in Workday integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, APIs)
Solid understanding of Workday security framework and business process configuration
Proven experience in architecting enterprise-scale Workday solutions
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models
Strategic thinking and solution design
Leadership and team mentoring
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Ability to balance functional and technical perspectives
Preferred Qualifications
Workday certifications (HCM, Integration, Financials, etc.)
Experience with data migration, reporting, and analytics in Workday
Exposure to cloud architecture and enterprise integration patterns
Prior experience in leading global Workday implementations
Knowledge of compliance standards (GDPR, SOX, etc.)
