What role will you play?
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and healthy workplace by managing incidents and workers compensation claims using best practice and early intervention case management principles.
You will implement WHS strategies that drive compliance and best practice by engaging with key stakeholders through WHS committee management and business continuity planning. You will manage health and wellbeing programs as well as supplier relationships to deliver high-quality support services across the organisation.
What you offer
3+ years of experience in workers compensation insurance claims management
Tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health Profession (Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor, Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist), or Insurance Management
Understanding and application of workers compensation and WHS laws and compliance obligations with a core focus on incident prevention, claims management and policy progression
Experience in identifying trends, patterns, and insights from data analytics to inform the direction of health and wellbeing advice, strategies and initiatives and to evaluate program effectiveness
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple aspects of work simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse teams and external partners.
