SumTotal Workforce Management Developer

3. JOB SUMMARY:
The SumTotal Workforce Management Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining workforce management solutions using SumTotal’s suite of tools. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation and optimization of workforce management processes
4.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and Development: Develop custom solutions and integrations using SumTotal Workforce Management tools.
• Implementation: Assist in the implementation of SumTotal Workforce Management modules, including Time & Attendance, Scheduling, and Absence Management.
• Customization: Customize SumTotal applications to meet specific business requirements.
• Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SumTotal Workforce Management systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to understand and address workforce management needs.
• Training: Train end-users and administrators on the effective use of SumTotal Workforce Management tools.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and processes
5.QUALIFICATION:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in developing and implementing workforce management solutions, preferably with SumTotal.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, SQL, and scripting languages. Experience with SumTotal APIs and integration tools.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Development experience in the following:
• SumTotal/Cornerstone WFM time & attendance version 18 (or above).
• Senior Java developer.
• Java rules development (specifically for timecard rules).
• Good knowledge of RuleSetXML, ScheduleRulesetXML and how rulesets work and experience placing custom rules in correct order.
• Knowledge of rule parameters and experience developing rules using rule parameters.
• Oracle DB knowledge a plus.
