Job Description
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the workshop. You will work closely with management and lead a team of technicians to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality repairs, and exceptional customer experience.
Must have minimum Light Vehicle Automotive Tradesman Certificate + 5 years workshop experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily workshop workflow across 5 hoists
Coordinate and support technicians to maximise productivity and efficiency
Oversee job allocation, progress, and completion
Conduct and assist with vehicle diagnostics where required
Manage parts ordering and supplier coordination
Maintain and manage digital job cards
Oversee time clocking and job costing accuracy
Conduct pre-start vehicle checks using Safetstop
Perform final quality control checks prior to vehicle handover
Communicate with customers, including creating and sending digital repair videos
Ensure a high standard of workshop organisation, safety, and presentation
