We are backed by Meta, IIT Mandi Catalyst, iHUB HCI Foundation, NASSCOM 10k, Venture Centure, CIE IIIT-H, KIIT-TBI, TCS Digital Impact Square.Role Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead/Engineering- to lead our engineering team and drive the technical vision and strategy of our venture backed digital health startup. The ideal candidate will have minimum of 5 years of experience in Unity, AR/VR/XR software and game development, with a proven track record of leading successful engineering teams and delivering high-quality products.Key Responsibilities :- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software developers, designers and 3D artists/modellers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.- Technical Strategy: Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for the organization.- Work closely with founders to align technical initiatives with business goals.- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects.- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.- Architecture and Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable and robust software architectures.- Make architectural decisions that align with long-term technical goals.- Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and maintainability.- Implement quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality software products.- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical team, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet user needs.- Performance Management: Set performance goals for team members, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.- Identify opportunities for skill development and career growth.- Technical Expertise: Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.Qualifications :- In-depth knowledge of Mixed Reality (AR/VR/XR) and AI technologies.- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, C# and platforms such as Unity, Unreal game development engines, along with design tools such as Blender, Maya, Vuforia.- 5-10 years of experience in Unity software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.- Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering successful software- projects.- Strong technical expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.- Experience with Agile development practices and project management tools.- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.- Strong passion to build Medical Extended Reality applications for impact in the healthcare industry.
