We’re looking for a motivated Yardperson to join our Warehouse & Logistics team and take responsibility for the safe and efficient management of yard activities and outside storage areas.
This is a hands-on, physically active role where attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential. If you have forklift experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in keeping operations running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm
Flexible to work every second Saturday, 5.30am – 8.30am
Your key responsibilities include:
Efficiently loading and unloading trucks with accuracy and timeliness
Preparing empty pallets for factory use and ensuring they are in good condition
Collecting transitional waste bins and disposing of contents appropriately
Changing gas and chemicals as required
Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the warehouse and yard
Separating and removing returned, broken, or damaged pallets
Operating machinery and equipment safely as trained and directed
Following all health and safety procedures and wearing required PPE
The successful candidate will have:
A valid forklift licence and experience operating forklifts
Class 2 licence would be advantageous
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Good hand-eye coordination, physical fitness, and the ability to stand for long periods in a cold environment
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Commitment to following health and safety requirements and wearing protective equipment
