Year 5/6 Teacher
Location: Driffield
Salary: £130-210 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Part-Time, Short Term
GSL Education are seeking to employ a Year 5/6 Teacher to work, or a client school in Driffield , starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who must be hardworking, conscientious and full of energy, with a strong track record of raising achievement.
This role is perfect for a teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality education and nurturing young minds in Key Stage 2. If you are an experienced Year 5/6 Teacher or a newly qualified teacher ready to take on a challenge, we would love to hear from you!
As a Year 5/6 Teacher Your Responsibilities Will Include
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5/6 students that inspire learning and curiosity.
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following the school’s behaviour policy.
• Communicate with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child’s progress.
As a Year 5/6 Teacher,essential Requirements Include The Following
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Year 5/6 or Key Stage 2 in a UK school setting.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• A proactive approach to supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
• Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to have one processed immediately.
