YMCA Pre-Kindergarten programs support families and foster the healthy growth and development of children. Our programs help children build self-confidence, learn healthy behaviors, and develop strong values. Based on the YMCA Playing to Learn emergent curriculum our all-day child care program is licensed by the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. We are seeking a full time Early Childhood Educator Administrator to join our Child Care team.

Job Requirements

Early Childhood Education Certificate, Diploma or Degree
AECENL Pre-school orientation and Early Learning Child Care Framework course considered assets
Experience working in early learning
Current Standard First Aid (2 day - non-expired)
Acceptable Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sectors Check (new checks will be obtained upon hire with the YMCA before working on the floor)
2 years experience
AECENL Pre-K orientation required to have or to be enrolled in
