Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and certified yoga instructor who is knowledgeable about yoga's history, philosophy, and ethics to take Yoga classes in schools. The yoga instructor is responsible for performing yoga poses precisely, using correct terminology, and safely guiding students through the flow of the practise. You should also be knowledgeable about the chakra system and mindful meditation.
You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to build relationships and lead yoga sessions. Your passion for health and wellness, combined with knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, will ensure your success.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct and lead yoga classes.
2. Visually assess students to determine their level of practice.
3. Assist students to achieve precise alignment.
4. Demonstrate practice and techniques.
5. Connect with students during the yoga classes through fun, intelligent sequencing.
6. Offer training recommendations to improve the practice of yoga.
Requirements:
1. Yoga certification with Yoga Alliance.
2. Minimum of 200 hours of experience.
3. Knowledge of the Chakra System, Pranayama, mantra and mindful meditation.
4. Maybe required to travel within the city.
