Position: Assistant Manager – Design & Product Development
Company: Saraswati Global Pvt. Ltd.
Location: 3, Amer Rd, Ramgarhmode, Ganesh Colony, parasrampuri, Jaipur, Rajasthan
Key Responsibilities:
• Assign design projects to internal and external designers and ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate with domestic and international manufacturers/designers for new developments as well as existing collections.
• Collaborate closely with the Product and Marketing teams for new product development initiatives.
• Follow up with the Bhadohi team to drive the development of new products.
• Manage the design process, including timely delivery of CAD designs.
• Monitor and follow up on the development sample chart, pending tasks, and progress status.
• Prepare and analyze costing for all new samples.
• Coordinate with VKI unit for material requirements, including new inquiries and running qualities.
• Conduct vendor presentations, review vendor PPTs with the team, and finalize vendor sample decisions including necessary changes.
• Review samples received from vendors with the team before submission to senior management for final approval.
• Conduct regular market studies to stay updated with industry trends and consumer preferences.
• Manage color approvals and ensure accurate passing of shades at VKI (Color Lab).
• Coordinate and collaborate with architects/design consultants for joint projects.
• Oversee the utilization of dyed and bleached stock for ongoing developments.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Strong background in design coordination and product development.
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in design review, sample analysis, and costing.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with strict timelines.
• Knowledge of market trends, colors, and material usage in the home décor/textile industry.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Zonal Manager – IDA Sales (West) to lead our sales efforts in the West Zone, based out of Mumbai. This role focuses on the Interior Designer and Architect (IDA) segment and requires someone with a strong understanding of the design world.
Ideal candidates will come from an architectural or interior design background and have successfully transitioned into sales or business development roles. This combination ensures both technical understanding and commercial acumen in working with design professionals and HNI clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive sales and business development within the IDA segment across the West Zone.
• Build and manage relationships with architects, interior designers, HNIs, and PMCs.
• Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with brand objectives.
• Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closure and after-sales support.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date client data and pipeline tracking using CRM software.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and execution teams.
• Represent ORVI at design events, exhibitions, and key industry forums.
Preferred Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales or business development, especially in luxury surfaces, home décor, or design-led products.
• Strong existing network among top architects, interior designers, and PMCs in the region.
• Hands-on experience using CRM platforms for lead management, client follow-up, and reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong planning, organization, and execution abilities.
• Self-driven and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
