Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare annual sales forecasts, targets and strategies to increase the market share in B2B and B2C markets.
• Maintain relationships with government agencies and other institutional players and develop plans to build brand visibility
• Develop and design the sales team based on the franchise and product presence across India. Also, prepare the sales pitch as per the value prepositions of the organizations.
• Strategize and plan to achieve sales targets for each state by breaking down annual targets into half-yearly, quarterly, and monthly targets.
• Drive initiatives and coordinate with account managers/state/regional managers in each state to achieve the overall sales objectives
• Review the targets achieved for all regions on a periodic basis and plan corrective
• actions in case of any deviations from the business plan and maintain P& L of the company.
• Identify the target Institutional Accounts based on an understanding of specific needs developed through market research and interaction
• Meet the key decision makers and negotiate terms and conditions and close sales agreements with the customers
• Design the PR, Marketing and Branding strategy and manage creative ATL & BTL marketing initiatives
• Plan and execute all campaign planning activities and develop themes and branding messages for effective communication for the desired brand proposition.
• Mentor and encourage subordinates to develop the team’s capabilities and handle greater responsibilities
Job Requirements:-
• Relevant experience of 10-20 years in Sales, Key Account Management & Marketing
• Must have experience in handling large distribution centre/Retail chain acquisition and retention.
• Should have experience in institutional sales in FMCG/ Retail/Food processing/Dairy /Agri industry
• Good communication, presentation & relationship building skills
• Excellent planning, organizing skills and time management skills
• Willingness to travel
• Experience in the Agriculture sector is a plus
• Education – MBA/PGDM
