Job Location: Mumbai / Bangalore
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain relationships with the clients - promoters / founders / director in the healthcare sector, including pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and healthcare services companies
• Provide strategic and financial advice to clients on a range of issues, including fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other financial transactions
• Lead the execution of transactions, including preparing pitch materials, conducting due diligence, negotiating deal terms, and managing the closing process
• Work closely with other members of the investment banking team, including analysts and associates, to ensure that clients receive the best possible advice and service
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including investors, lenders, lawyers, and other advisors.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in the healthcare sector, including regulatory changes, technological innovations, and industry consolidation
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and other stakeholders on market trends, deal opportunities, and other relevant topics
• Assist and lead execution of complex client deals and fundraising activities
• Provide support in deal origination
• Ensure timely preparation of presentations, transaction materials and financial analysis
• Manage execution and transaction processes
Job Requirements:
• Master degree in finance, business, economics, or related field. MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on healthcare transactions
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare sector, including trends, regulations, and market dynamics
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with promoters, founders, investors and other stakeholders
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to clients and other stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully executing healthcare transactions, including M&A and Equity & Debt fundraising
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Candidate with a wide network of contacts in the investor community. This includes institutional investors, private equity firms, and other strategic investors who are actively looking for healthcare-related investment opportunities
