Job Description
Dinsmore is accepting resumes for our 2027 Summer program and 2027 first year Associate class for positions in our Intellectual Property Department in Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Dayton, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; Detroit, Michigan; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and San Diego, California. A technical background is required for patent positions and we are looking for students with patent-bar-eligible undergraduate degrees. Students without a technical background will be considered for potential IP litigation or trademark/copyright positions.
Interested students graduating law school in 2027 and 2028 must be able to demonstrate high academic achievements in law school and undergraduate school, excellent research and writing abilities, extracurricular involvement and/or employment history (preferably in leadership positions), maturity, ability to accept responsibility, and strong interpersonal skills.
