Assistant Vice President, Finance and Accounting Role at Genpact

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a large Finance and Accounting (F&A) team in areas such as General Accounting, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Account Reconciliation.
You will balance month-end, quarter-end, and year-end preparation, ensuring smooth execution and timely closure of books, while also grooming and enabling career progression within Genpact's culture.
The successful candidate will achieve/exceed retention targets and lead the delivery of outsourced F&A services to ensure customer satisfaction and increased revenue through client up-sell.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with global business leaders and functional leaders to build and commercialize existing and new product offerings, demonstrating sound knowledge in F&A aspects such as Inter-co accounting, Fixed Assets accounting, Bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and Month-end close aspects.
The ideal candidate must be able to work with cross-functional teams, including Operations, GPO, Digital team, Transformation team, and Transitions team, and possess proactive problem-solving skills, trouble-shooting abilities, and experience working through organizational change scenarios.
The Assistant Vice President, Finance and Accounting, will implement mechanisms to identify performance gaps and breakthroughs, develop improvement plans, and collaborate in the new deal process, including solutioning, pricing, due diligence, transition, and stabilization.
Qualifications sought in a candidate:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant and Graduate from top Commerce colleges.
• Minimum experience of several years in the F&A Domain.
• Ability to own end-to-end client service delivery and P&L.
• Strong executive presence and experience implementing new technologies in operations.
• Excellent knowledge of ERP Applications, Workflow Tools, and prior experience in the services industry leading large teams in F&A domains.
