Job Title: Accountant (Full-Time)
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Company: M/s MURARI LAL AGARWAL
We are a government contractor and engineering company specializing in civil infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, bridges, and tollways. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis at our Jaipur office.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management:
- Operate and maintain Tally for all financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payables, receivables, and general ledger entries accurately.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing for all ongoing tenders.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Handle all GST-related activities, including preparation and filing of GST Returns (Input & Output) and maintaining statutory documentation.
- File GST, TDS, and Income Tax Returns, ensuring timely compliance.
- Oversee all taxation matters and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Audits & Documentation:
- Assist statutory auditors during audits by providing accurate data and reports.
- Get tender documents certified from statutory auditors as needed.
- Maintain documentation for internal and external audit requirements.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Handle firm and personal Income Tax Returns (ITRs) while providing timely updates on tax liabilities.
- Collaborate on final account settlements and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and organize critical financial documents to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with the finance team on taxation matters and adapt to regulatory changes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Proficient in Tally and MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Strong understanding of GST regulations and procedures, including GST Input and Output filings.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for smooth coordination with team members and auditors.
- High degree of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
