Account and Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Manage the company's tax planning and compliance processes, including the preparation and filing of tax returns. - Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making. - Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies. - Mentor and lead a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. - Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, advising management on potential impacts and necessary adjustments. - Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends. Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is required. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and tax management, preferably in a corporate environment. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. - Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. - Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. - Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
