Our team at Innonxt is building a bridge to ignite the minds of young people to explore space research and contribute towards making India's mark in space exploration and technology. In addition to space research, SpaceInnonxt also contributes to creating clean, sustainable energy with its solar panels, biodegradable plastics, and cold water purifiers that do not require electricity. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
· Record financial transactions, including income, expenses, and investments.
· Verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Reporting:
· Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
· Generate financial reports on a regular basis for management review.
· Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
· Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
· Monitor budget performance and report any variances.
· Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
Tax Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
· Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax and GST/HST returns.
· Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Financial Analysis:
· Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
· Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
Payroll Processing:
· Process employee payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
· Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations.
· Handle any payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Audit and Compliance:
· Collaborate with auditors during financial audits.
· Ensure the company's financial records are in compliance with accounting standards.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
· Review and process invoices from vendors and suppliers.
· Maintain good relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms.
Bank Reconciliation:
· Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
· Manage company bank accounts effectively.
Expense Management:
· Monitor and control company expenses.
· Review and approve expense reports from employees.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is a plus.
· Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a private limited company or a similar role.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
· Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ethical and trustworthy with confidential financial information.
