Job Description

We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Account Executive to join our Brand Experiences team. In this role, you will be a key driver in bringing impactful and memorable brand activations to life - from planning and production to on-site execution - within the fast-paced and exciting beverage industry.

KEY DETAILS:
• Location: Chicago, IL
• Employment: Full-time, salaried
• Work Model: Hybrid; 3-days a week in office (M, W, Th) in Downtown Chicago
• Travel: Required. Approximately 1 event a month (9-12 a year)
• Reports to: Associate Account Director, Brand Experience
• Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT & CLIENT SERVICING
• Support day-to-day planning and execution of experiential brand activations across multiple programs and clients with concurrent workflows, under the guidance of an Associate Account Director.
• Help build and maintain project timelines and production documents, including run-of-show timelines, budget and status trackers, and client-facing presentations.
• Serve as a key client contact, maintaining consistent communications, managing expectations, and flagging risks early.
• Draft design briefs, review artwork, and source assets while collaborating with creative and design teams to ensure work is on brand, on brief, and meets the agency’s standard of excellence.

EVENT EXECUTION & ON-SITE OPERATIONS
• Attend and support on-site event execution, including load-in, load-out, and event activation.
• Be a liaison with third-party suppliers, including venue partners, staffing agencies, labor hands, fabricators, bartenders, etc., and keep everything running smoothly under pressure.
• Maintain brand standards and quality control across all touchpoints of the event experience, ensuring all event aspects are executed thoughtfully and with attention to detail.
• Develop detailed post-event recaps and accurate budget reconciliations.
• Learn a lot. But also have a lot of fun. We work in drinks after all.

YOU MUST HAVE:
• 3-4 years of account management experience, ideally within an agency.
• A proven track record of working with clients, managing project timelines, and delivering high-quality work on time with some level of independent workstream ownership.
• A PLUS: Experience supporting the conception and execution of exceptional live events for consumer brands.
• The ability to multitask across different projects, being proactive, not reactive, while maintaining a team-player mentality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - and not afraid to pick up the phone.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - nothing slips through the cracks on your watch.
• An eye for design - comfortable working with designers to achieve excellence and have the ability to visualize and implement the premium aesthetic of our clients.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, and is tech-savvy enough to quickly learn other tech programs
• A glass-half-full personality - resiliently positive attitude is key to the Sidecar ethos.
• Willingness and availability to travel approximately once a month for event activations.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule (in office Mon, Wed, and Thurs.)
• Legal authorization to work in the United States, and must be 21+.
