Job Description
Business development executives are responsible for finding and retaining clients. Also responsible for strategic and operational business development. They coordinate with company executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends in order to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
–Developing and executing sales plans to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
–Growing business through the development of new leads and new contacts
–Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
–Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
–Guide, train and motivate sales team to meet or exceed the sales performance targets.
–Establish strong customer relationships by providing accurate and timely information to customers regarding inquiries such as products, pricing, quotes and issues/concerns.
–Reviewing clients’ feedback and implementing necessary changes.
–Collaborating with management on sales goals
–Assisting with marketing and promotional projects
REQUIREMENTS
–Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or similar field
–Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development or similar role
KEY SKILLS
–Excellent verbal and written communication skills
–Proven working experience in sales, business development or similar role
–Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
–Strong track record of success within sales, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
–Excellent multitasking skills, ability to prioritize tasks
–Experience in managing and growing sales teams
–Ability to present and explain ideas to a variety of audiences
–Strong organizational and time management skills
