Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Cost Accounting: Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including direct materials, labor, and overheads. Conduct variance analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records. Reconcile physical inventory counts with book balances and analyze inventory levels to optimize stock management.
Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Prepare and file tax returns and coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable. Ensure timely payments to suppliers and collection from customers.
Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, bonuses, and deductions.
Financial Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Reporting to Management: Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in garment manufacturing or textile industry accounting.
Familiarity with barcode systems and e-commerce transactions.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
