Job Description – Accounts Executive
Position: Accounts Executive
Experience: 2 to 4 Years
Location: Shilphata / Shil Gaon / Diva
CTC: Up to ₹50,000 per month
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting processes and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities / KRAs
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers.
Ensure timely posting and reconciliation of accounts.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Manage vendor payments and customer receipts.
Perform regular follow-ups for outstanding receivables.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Banking & Reconciliation
Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) on a regular basis.
Monitor bank transactions and ensure accuracy.
Statutory Compliance
Handle GST compliance including returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconciliations.
Support TDS calculations, deductions, and filings.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.
Payroll & Expense Processing
Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
Verify expense claims and supporting documents.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare monthly MIS reports and assist in financial statements.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audits.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
System & Process Support
Work on accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, Excel).
Support process improvements and ensure adherence to company policies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accuracy and timeliness of accounting entries
On-time completion of GST, TDS, and statutory filings
Reduction in reconciliation discrepancies
Timely closure of monthly accounts and MIS reports
Vendor and customer reconciliation turnaround time
Compliance adherence with minimal audit observations
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting
Hands-on experience with Tally / Accounting Software
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
Proficiency in MS Excel
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
