Join Team Evolve at Cornerstone OnDemand as an Account Management Specialist, a dynamic role that blends traditional account management with consultative sales and strategic portfolio management. This position is dedicated to supporting a portfolio of customers transitioning from Saba and TalentSpace to Cornerstone's flagship platform. Your primary focus will be on ensuring smooth contract renewals, identifying upsell opportunities, and facilitating successful migrations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management and enterprise solution sales, particularly within SaaS environments. Exceptional relationship-building and consultative skills are essential to guide customers through their journey, aligning our solutions with their business goals.
In this role, you will...
• Customer Management
• Manage a portfolio of customers moving from Saba and TalentSpace to Cornerstone's solutions.
• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
• Create and execute detailed account plans to ensure seamless migrations and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Renewals and Retention
• Proactively oversee contract renewals, demonstrating the value of Cornerstone’s solutions to achieve high retention rates.
• Identify accounts at risk and develop targeted strategies to address concerns and strengthen loyalty.
• Upselling and Expansion
• Discover opportunities to broaden Cornerstone’s impact by introducing additional solutions and capabilities.
• Collaborate with customers to design strategic plans that align their talent management objectives with Cornerstone’s offerings.
• Migration to Cornerstone
• Serve as a trusted advisor during the migration from legacy systems to our flagship platform.
• Work closely with internal teams like implementation and customer success to guarantee positive migration experiences.
• Strategic Alignment and Business Growth
• Conduct workshops to uncover customer needs and align Cornerstone’s solutions with their strategic goals.
• Present compelling proposals that highlight the value, ROI, and advantages of migrating to Cornerstone.
• Regularly assess customer engagement and product adoption to ensure long-lasting relationships.
You might be the right fit if you have...
• Experience and Expertise
• 3+ years of successful experience in enterprise account management or portfolio sales within SaaS or comparable technology sectors.
• A deep understanding of learning and talent management solutions, with experience in SaaS migrations highly preferred.
• Awareness of the challenges faced by customers transitioning from platforms like Saba and TalentSpace.
• Sales and Relationship Skills
• Outstanding consultative sales abilities and strong discovery skills to accurately assess customer needs.
• Proficient in building relationships at various organizational levels, establishing trust and influence.
• Track record of driving upsell opportunities, overseeing renewals, and meeting customer success indicators.
• Communication and Collaboration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting effectively to senior executives.
• Effective collaboration across corporate functions, fostering teamwork with Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation departments.
• Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving
• Analytical mindset with the capability to identify trends and form actionable strategies.
• Creative problem-solving abilities, adept at managing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in managing complex accounts within learning and HR technology sectors.
• Background in SaaS migrations or familiarity with Saba and TalentSpace systems.
• Expertise in consultative account management and enterprise solution sales.
• Willingness to travel as required based on customer accounts.
