Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Officer located in Jejuri.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial statements, utilizing analytical skills, providing excellent customer service, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately input financial data, update records, and maintain digital and physical files.
• Invoice Processing: Prepare, process, and manage invoices, as well as handle vendor and customer inquiries.
• Payment Processing: Assist with payments to vendors and customers, including processing reimbursements and bank deposits.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other financial documents.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Basic Bookkeeping: Maintain general ledgers, perform journal entries, and manage petty cash.
• Administrative Support: Provide clerical support, such as answering phones, handling mail, and filing documents.
• Communication: Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding billing, payments, and other financial matters.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• MIS- Preparation of MIS
• Assisting with Audits and tax preparation: Providing information and supporting documentation for Audits and tax filings.
Required Skills:
• Strong organizational skills: To manage records, files, and tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail: To ensure financial data entry and processing accuracy.
• Basic accounting knowledge: To understand financial transactions and principles.
• Computer proficiency: To use accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Communication skills: To interact with clients, vendors, and internal staff.
• Problem-solving skills: To identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Qualifications:
• Financial Statements and Finance skills
• 2-4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Customer Service and Communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
