Month end closing :
As part of a diverse multinational accounting team we seek to provide continual improvement in controls and processes. We also roll out automation, while ensuring the highest standards in assurance. We assist with monthly local statutory accounting and other statutory compliance reporting and filing as well as US GAAP accounting.
Accrual preparation and postings:
During month close team review accruals as submitted by business and make sure these are as per accounting policies. Preparations, review and posting of accrual journals are essential part of profile.
Preparation of Balance sheet reconciliations -
This role requires attention details skill set to understand the balance sheet reconciliations and identify the items where rectification is needed and upload same in Blackline.
Accounting of Prepaid expense:
Role needed a good accounting knowledge of Prepaid expenses. It involves recognition of Prepaid expenses as per policy and amortization of same in timely and accurately amortizations.
Bank research and reconciliations:
Person should have and an experience on various reconciliations activities. Bank reconciliation and Bank research are one of essential month close activity.
Fixed asset accounting
Fixed accounting has an activity of assets additions, deletions during the month. Also need to analyze construction in progress assets and settlement of them as per USGAAPs and local GAAPs. Depreciation Journal entries, Impairment of assets, Asset depreciation. Preparation PPE schedules for India Balance sheet finalization and Physical Inventory of assets.
Audit Support:
Drive strong data and process governance and standardization, and support audit requests. Understand audit requirement and Prepare audit schedules for internal as well as external auditors. Resolving audit queries in timely manner.
BS and PL variance (trend) analysis:
As a reporting exercise, person must understand the data integrity and prepare the accrual variance analysis. For management reporting purpose PL variance and trend analysis are essential and person must be well versed with these activities.
SOP preparations and automation opportunities:
Preparation of SOPs for existing processes and finding the opportunity of automation of steps with the help of technology.
Project support:
Team member will be actively working on various Finance project as contributor and lead under this role. Hence cross functional communication is crucial. Co-ordination with cross function teams EMEA , USA , JAPAC :

USGAAP and IGAAP reporting ;
Candidate should have good knowledge of technical accounting standard under USGAAP and IGAAP. This would help team to extend support at global level during close and various reporting requirements.
Candidate must be able to multitask, have strong verbal and written communication skills, be professional and have a positive attitude. Must be detail oriented and well organized with the ability to work under pressure. Need to possess strong problem solving skills and flexibility. Need to have an even temperament, with excellent work ethic and commitment
