Accountant 1 Entry Level - Remote US at Public Partnerships LLC in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Public Partnerships LLC supports individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses and aging adults, to remain in their homes and communities and 'self-direct' their own long-term home care. Our role as the nation's largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider is to assist those eligible Medicaid recipients to choose and pay for their own support workers and services within their state-approved personalized budget. We are appointed by states and managed healthcare organizations to better serve more of their residents and members requiring long-term care and ensure the efficient use of taxpayer funded services. (learn more at ). Watch the ' What We Do ' video on our website: Duties & Responsibilities: Monitors bank transactions to approve positive pay and ACH debit transactions. Acts as point of contact for bank inquiries from project managers and operations staff. Reconciles bank accounts, reconcile and process credit card payments, research transactions as assigned by manager. Provides general ledger and reporting assistance to project managers and operations staff. Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures and recommend accounting process improvements. Records Cash Receipts, electronic and paper payments and apply client payments to invoices. Prepare weekly and monthly reports to management. Supports quarterly reporting to internal and external parties. Required Skills: Effective ability to prioritize and manage multiple activity streams. Ability to work effectively with, and communicate with all levels of management. Must have the ability to manage task load with frequent interruptions. Must maintain attention to detail at all times. Excellent organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel. Possess discretion to work with confidential information. Ability to ensure work is accurate, completed and self-reviewed in a timely manner for Manager review Skilled communicator both verbally and in writing Ability to provide ad-hoc data analysis from within and outside of department in a timely and accurate manner Ability to diagnose, research, and resolve technical issues independently or as a cooperative member of a team Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; 3-5 years experience in lieu of Experience: 1+ years of accounting experience Compensation & Benefits: + 401k Retirement Plan + Medical, Dental and Vision insurance on first day of employment + Generous Paid Time Off + Tuition Reimbursement Program + Employee Assistance Program and more + The base pay listed may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
