Accountant 3
You will be working in Financial Accounting EMEA Team, which has 40+ team members. This role is responsible for monthly /quarterly book closing, preparing statutory financial statements, supporting PWC audits, delivering stakeholder packs, and managing onshore and offshore stakeholders. In addition, there are a lot of regulatory requirements and complex trading products that this role will deal with. The deadlines are sharp, and the accuracy of the data is key.

Desired Skills And Qualifications
• Good knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting requirements.
• An understanding of key aspects associated with the financial statements.
• Knowledge of reporting systems and respective upstream feeds, including understanding potential impacts on the end-to-end reporting flows.
• Knowledge of the key processes for maintaining the accounting ledgers of the legal entity.
Experience: 5+ years of experience post qualification.
Education: CA final

Roles And Responsibilities
• Your responsibilities include the production of financial statements as per IFRS and US GAAP for Investment Banking entities.
• Ensure timely and correct ledger closing and delivery of Reconciliations, and MI reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Drive continuous improvement in the processes, which involves working closely with the Finance change team to prioritize the automation of all manual processes.
• You develop and demonstrate a strong review mechanism and instill a ‘control’ mindset in the team to minimize errors and build robust processes.
• You drive the focus on process documentation, timely updating of changes, and regular cross-training within the team.
• You ensure all SOX and other controls reflect the current process and are strictly complied with, with no audit observations.
• Monthly presentation on financial summary and control framework to stakeholders and proactively work towards closure of action items.
• You manage various stakeholders – Onshore, Product Control, Regulatory reporting, Auditors, and Tax team and handle their queries promptly.
