We are looking for an Accountant to perform daily accounting tasks and duties in a professional and confidential manner.
The Accountant will be responsible for journal entries into the financial software system, preparing bank reconciliations, reviewing daily cash reports, and assisting in analyzing financial statements to assess program and department performance. Additionally, the Accountant will help prepare financial reports for funders as needed for reporting and auditing purposes and monitor the accounting of all Brightpoint fixed assets.
Responsibilities:
Journal entries into the financial software system
Preparing bank reconciliations
Reviewing daily cash reports
Assisting in analyzing financial statements
Preparation of financial reports for funders
Monitoring the accounting of fixed assets
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field
At least two years of accounting experience
Proficient knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, including non-profit accounting
Experience with Sage Intacct software
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Benefits:
Hourly compensation between $26-$31 per hour
