Position - Accountant – Payment Follow-Up Specialist
Experience - 3 to 5 Years
Salary up - 30K to 35K per month

Job Summary -
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with a strong background in payment follow-up and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing outstanding invoices, following up on overdue payments, coordinating with clients, and ensuring timely collection to maintain healthy cash flow for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable and aging reports.
• Initiate regular follow-ups via email, phone, or other communication channels with clients for payment collection.
• Resolve client billing issues and disputes promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications related to payment follow-ups.
• Collaborate with internal departments (sales, customer service, etc.) to resolve account discrepancies.
• Prepare and send monthly statements and reminders to clients.
• Support monthly closing activities by reconciling customer accounts and verifying incoming payments.
• Generate and analyze reports related to receivables and payment trends.
• Recommend improvements to the collection process to enhance efficiency.
Skills:
• Experience with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Knowledge of GST and other tax compliances (if applicable)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
