Accountant

Job description We are seeking trustworthy candidates who work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. Accountants can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. You should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess good computer and verbal and written communication skills General: – Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations. – Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data. – Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc. – Maintaining accurate financial records. – Performing audits and resolving discrepancies. – Computing taxes. – Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting. – Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts. – Working on Direct and Indirect Taxes. – Preparing monthly filling for PF, Ptax, ESI and TDS etc. – Working on statutory compliances i.e. GST filling, Income Tax , Form 16 and ROC. – Making sure accounting for Provident Fund and ESI is accurate. – Responsible for Bank Reconciliation (BRS), scrutiny of Ledger & releasing payments. – Maintenance of books of accounts in Tally ERP. – Monthly close of Accounting modules, ensuring monthly Subledger to General Ledger reconciliation. Outside Handling: – Visiting the banks and regulatory agencies if required. – Coordination with CA for Annual Audit up to completion of audit. – Liaison with Government Departments and ensure compliance. Your Qualifications – A bachelors degree in Accounting and related field with 3 to 15 years of professional work experience is preferred. – Experience with India Accounting Standard. – Tally ERP skills is Must – Experience in Indian Accounting, Bookkeeping, Direct and Indirect Taxes permitting good interpretation of tax laws. – Detail oriented with ability to multitask. – Proven ability to embrace new technologies. Systems & process savvy with experience in relevant software & financial reporting systems. – Advance to Expert user of: Tally ERP & Microsoft Office Applications. (EXCEL, WORD, etc.) – Strong organizational & communication skills and possess a teamwork mentality. – Problem solving attitude.
