Job Description:
We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, handling GST filings, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and statements
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Prepare monthly profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Manage GST filings, TDS returns, and statutory compliances
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and CA firm
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and government regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, Zoho Books and accounting software
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
