The Job Profile is for Accountant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Income Tax Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Indian Income Tax Return (ITR) filing, with a strong understanding of returns for Individuals, Businesses, NRIs, and various income types including Capital Gains. This role involves end-to-end tax compliance support, tax planning, and coordination with clients for timely and accurate filings.
Key Responsibilities:·
Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for individuals, proprietorships, partnerships, companies, and NRIs.· Handle capital gain taxation, including computation from sale of property, shares, mutual funds, and other assets.· Analyse and classify various sources of income including Salary, House Property, Business Income, Capital Gains, and Other Sources.· Assist in Advance Tax Calculations, Self-Assessment Tax computation, and ensuring compliance with tax payment deadlines.· Respond to Notices from the Income Tax Department and assist in filing revised or rectified returns when necessary.· Stay updated on changes in income tax laws, slabs, exemptions, and deductions.· Support in tax planning for clients based on their income profiles and financial goals.· Coordinate with clients for collection of data, documents, and information required for return preparation.· Maintain accurate records of filings, acknowledgements, and client communications.
Key Skills Required:·
Strong knowledge of Indian Income Tax laws and various ITR forms (ITR-1 to ITR-7).· Experience in filing Returns for Salaried Individuals, Businesses, Professionals, NRIs, and those with Capital Gains.· Proficiency in Capital Gain Calculations and reporting, including indexation and exemptions.· Familiarity with Tax Filing Portals (Income Tax e-filing, TRACES, AIS/TIS).· Attention to detail and accuracy in computations.· Working knowledge of Tax Filing Software’s and Excel.
Preferred Attributes:·
Prior experience in a CA firm or tax consultancy.· Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.· Good communication and interpersonal skills.· Problem-solving mindset with a client-first attitude.
