At Munro Footwear Group (MFG) we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to join our Finance team and take ownership of core financial processes that support business decision-making and ensure compliance.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting audit and tax obligations, and partnering with key departments across the business.

Manage an accurate and timely month-end, processing all required General Ledger entries, Balance Sheet reconciliations and providing clear, timely financial reporting
Partner with teams across Wholesale, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure correct accruals
Analyse monthly and annual financial results, summarising key movements and variances for stakeholders and regulators
Support year-end statutory reporting and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor requests
Work with the Commercial team to monitor budgets and forecasts across business cost centres
Maintain robust internal controls, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with company policies
Assist with other finance-related tasks and projects as needed
