Overview
Our firm is seeking a highly motivated professional to support our growing company.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Collecting, organizing, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, including receipts, invoices, and payments.
Preparing Financial Statements: Preparing key financial documents such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and trial balance.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Creating annual budgets, monitoring expenditures, and forecasting future financial trends and requirements for the organization.
Cost accounting reporting, analysis, and entry
Auditing: assisting with reporting, audit requests, backup documentation
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Managing accounts payable and receivable ledgers, ensuring timely payment of bills and collection of outstanding invoices.
Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements with company records to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.
Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost saving or revenue enhancement.
WIP report preparation
Monthly accruals and journal entries
Asset management tracking and entry of purchases and disposals
Required Qualification and Skills
Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in accounting software such as Deltek, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools.
Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in preparing and analyzing financial information.
