About the Job:
We are looking for an experienced accountant with a strong understanding of accounting principles and keen attention to detail to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in Corporate Accounting and Payroll Accounting for multiple India/US companies.
Key Responsibilities:
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING & REPORTING
Perform all accountings and reporting related tasks for our company and our clients.
Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries in accordance with GAAP
Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries
Record accruals, deferrals, depreciation, and amortization
Investigate and resolve accounting variances or discrepancies
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank, AR, AP, and accruals
Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
Facilitate Payroll Management and Payroll Accounting Tasks
Evaluate workflows and lead process improvements
COMPLIANCE & CONTROLS
Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
Assist with audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and support
Maintain strong internal controls and documentation standards
COLLAORATION & COMMUNICATION
Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and external vendors
Work closely with lead US accountants and leadership teams.
Respond promptly to internal and external accounting inquiries professionally
Support CFO, controllers, and finance leadership as needed
Qualifications
3+ Years experience as an Accountant.
Bachelors or Master's in accounting/finance.
CA or Inter CA or equivalent accounting qualification in progress preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting systems and reporting
Expertise in financial technology tools.
Quick learner with ability to grasp US based Insurance carriers
Can speak in English fluently and comfortable communicating with US team
